Cuba's Vintage Cars

I am putting together an ebook of photos that I took in Cuba of the vintage cars there. Barring computer glitches, and a minimum of procrastination, look for it on Amazon by the end of the month...

  1. A fellow Zagst writer! My name is Jeff Zagst, and we must be distant cousins because I think every Zagst in America is descended from John or Andrew Zagst who came here in the mid 1800s XD

    1. You're right, Jeff. I believe Andrew is my direct ancestor. His son John, my great grandfather, ended up in Houston. And I'm in Austin.

    2. Ah, cool. I think my Uncle Jerry was in Texas when he was compiling the family tree. I am one of two Jeffrey Zagsts. The other is a doctor, and I am an aspiring fiction writer.

I am descended from John Zagst. My father is William, his father is Joseph, and his father is Aloysius. I'm not sure who Aloysius' father was, but the next after him was John Zagst, Andrew's brother. So Aloysius, my great-grandfather, was the grandson of John Zagst.

  2. Jeff -

Driving in to Houston today for the funeral of my dad's sister, my Aunt Margaret. Terrific lady. Not five years ago, nearly 90, she broke up a road rage incident that had spilled into the store where she found herself. She told these two burly guys, yelling in each others' faces, "I am a great grandmother with a heart condition, and you two are making me real nervous..." She embarrassed them into calming down.
